"An advisory council is a group of individuals who meet on a regular basis and work with the park supervisor to support the effective functioning of the park. A council works with the park staff to advise them on the needs and concerns of the community." -Chicago Park District |
WELCOME! The Chicago Sauganash Park Advisory Council was first established in the 1990s and has been reinstituted by a group of neighborhood volunteers in the spring of 2009. The PAC would like to work with the park staff to identify and meet the changing needs of the community. Are there programs for the different age groups including, youth, teens, adults and seniors? Is there something else the park can do to to get the community to "COME OUT AND PLAY"? The SPAC would like to investigate and encourage the implementation of some new and exciting changes. The SPAC encourages the residents of the community to share their opinions, concerns and suggestions. Join the PAC to show your support! |
